The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services for the community.

SASSA might be rendering providers such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it's alarmed with regard to the large range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal with the Integrated sassa status Registration Outreach Programme status sassa [ICROP] is to reach-out to some significant number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office committed to service the area regularly. The service stage developed for intervention activities a significant influx of probable beneficiaries, that makes it challenging for your Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional assets to allow the servicing of all customers and improve entry to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
